Our Adventure to Dogtown

John and I live in Prattville. We're about 20 minutes from Montgomery and about an hour to Birmingham. You would think we would go to furniture stores in those nearby cities.... but not anymore! Saturday we went to Dogtown -- only about 3 hours north of us! It's actually called Akins Furniture, but people know it as Dogtown. What a day! It took us 2 hours to look through this Wal-Mart SuperCenter -size store with NOTHING but FURNITURE! It was truly amazing. I would call it a hole-in-the-wall .... but there's nothing SMALL to this place! And the prices are much less than most places. Well worth the trip! We highly recommend! Needless to say we did not come home with the recliner John fell in love with ... or fell asleep in!
