What's For Dinner?

After we got married, that question - "What's for dinner" - frustrated me to no end! Partly because I'm not a wonderful cook and also because I have trouble being "creative" in the kitchen... coming up with new ideas and new recipes to make. And please keep in mind, it's not hard for me to find recipes. What's hard is finding recipes that don't require 20+ ingredients!

But more and more lately, I've enjoyed being in the kitchen. I never minded trying a new recipe and "oh well, if it didn't work." (McDonald's is right down the road!) I think John is getting use to that mentality! But, this weekend we had a few good meals. Baked Mahi Mahi with a lemon/garlic/basil mix with rice and baked asparagus. Yum! And healthy! Then for the not so healthy part - apple crisp!
